  15. Hi Kavi,

You're the one who tirelessly campaigns for press freedom throughout Southeast Asia. So, journalists in this region regard you as the one who strongly defends and promotes article 19.For that reason, you need to be healthier and stronger. We know, you are strong enough to play in the media front line.

Looking forward to see you taking active part in the press freedom campaign!

    Best,

So sorry to hear that you're unwell, but am confident that you'll take this on with the same fighting spirit with which you approach evil dictators, media moguls, and other assorted threats to press freedom! Wishing you all the best from NYC in the meantime. Have the docs looked into myelytis? Your symptoms sound very similar to a relative of mine who had a sudden attack of that.

    All best,

  60. Hello everyone,

    I am Hanoi, Kavi's son.

Thank you so much for all of your warm wishes. It put a smile on my dad's face when I showed him this page. There are comments from all over the world!

My dad is getting better everyday. His legs and arms that were previously numb are slowly regaining their mobility day by day. The recovery process will take time, but my dad has his spirits high and so do the rest of us.

He still has a good appetite and is joking and laughing. Exercises in the physical therapy room to re-train his legs have already begun.

Thank you once more for all of your warm comments.

I will keep this page updated.
